- Part of a 3-person team of coordinators for Outreach and Communication activities of the Southern Widefield Gamma-ray Observatory (SWGO) collaboration
The work involved:
- Coordinating internal and external communications across multinational teams
- Improving SWGO’s visibility externally
- Ensuring consistent messaging and accessibility internally
- Creating content for and maintaining SWGO’s webpages

FameLab Italy (2025)
International scicomm competition, where participants translate science concepts of their choice into engaging stories for non-specialist audiences in only three minutes, and are judged on “content, clarity and charisma” ;)

- Produced content (print and digital) for 7 clear and engaging articles on astrophysics for a particle physics audience
The work involved:
- Tracking and analysing emerging research to inform content
- Adapting complex research into accessible, audience-specific narratives through clear, accurate storytelling to support crossdisciplinary understanding
Editor
TheScienceBreaker (2022-2023)
- Edited and published 4+ lay summaries read by thousands online, increasing accessibility of peer-reviewed research to non-specialist audiences, thereby improving scientific transparency and supporting evidence-based dialogue between science and society
The work involved:
- Independent and iterative editing of scientific articles in close liaison with the authors
- Breaking down scientific jargon to make scientific literature accessible to the general public
